Resident Opportunities and Self-Sufficiency
(ROSS)
Neighborhood Networks Program
provides access for residents to information technology and economic
opportunities to achieve long-term independence.
The Career Connection Center provides computer access, training, adult
education and youth programs in two locations within the public housing
community making its services accessible to residents seeking self-sufficiency
opportunities. In ensuring maximum effectiveness the centers Resource Navigator
seeks to involve the whole community in partnership with the centers common
objectives therefore offering programs that are beneficial to the whole family.
This holistic approach is accomplished through various partnerships within
the community that provides programs aimed at promoting self-sufficiency and
independence.
