GREENVILLE HOUSING AUTHORITY

A primary goal of the Authority is to provide housing for low-income households while improving housing and economic opportunities for residents and maintaining high standards of property management, fiscal management and service delivery. Coordination with city efforts and collaborations with other public and private entities is constantly emphasized.

Board of Commissioners

¬The GHA’s Board of Commissioners has the responsibility to set the polices to be administered by the Executive Director. Decisions regarding the Greenville Housing Authority are made at a public meeting held the last Monday of every month at 5:30 p.m. The public is welcome. The seven-member body is comprised of city residents appointed by the Mayor. One of the commissioners is a resident of public housing.
