 Mission of the Greenville Housing Authority

The GHA’s overall immediate mission is to continue to provide for nearly 2,000 public housing residents, and 1,600 Section 8 participants within Greenville’s city limits.

The mission of the Greenville Housing Authority is:  

  1. ¬Provide stable, quality affordable housing for low and moderate income persons;

  2. ¬Deliver these services with integrity and mutual accountability; 

  3. ¬To create living environments which serve as catalysts for the transformation from dependency to economic self-sufficiency.
